Karson has had another rough week.
He started with a fever on Saturday and was acting totally normal.
You would have never known he was sick.
Sick baby who wouldn't drink or eat anything...a Popsicle does the trick!
Then Sunday evening his fever spiked.
Tylenol wouldn't bring it down.
Mommy got worried.
Karson's attitude changed almost instantly.
He went from acting totally normal, to laying limp in my lap.
We ended up at the ER, right before Super Bowl started.

We watched Cars.
Took turns snuggling.
Tried everything we could to get Munchkin to drink something.
He even got his first taste of an orange slushie.
Two sips, and he was done.
The doctors watched his fever for a while.
Upped his tylenol dose, and sent us home
Tuesday he broke out with a rash.
Everywhere.
Yesterday, he took 4 naps.
He rarely even takes 2 anymore.
These pictures are deceiving.
He really only let me put him down for about 2 minutes all day.
I am pretty sure he is running to me, because I had his blanket.
And apparently his paci too.
See his bumps on his forehead? The ones that are not supposed to itch, but obviously bother him....
Even though he wasn't feeling well, his dump truck was just too interesting to pass up.
He has become quite inquisitive.
He loves to try and figure out how things work.
He looked and looked at his dump truck.
Trying to figure out why the teeth kept disappearing and reappearing.
He moved onto inspecting Noah for a few seconds.
And went right back to investigating that dump truck.
Opening and closing the bucket, trying to figure it all out.
And Molly always finds a way to crack me up.
Why does it crack me up that she is laying on the floor?
Because she insists she must always lay in front of the heat vent.
Always. She just discovered it. And she loves it. Cracks me up.
Last night we couldn't find her. She was laying by the heat vent in the bedroom.
We are hoping for a less eventful week next week...

Hope he gets to feeling better soon...! And our animals LOVE the heater vents as well.
