Alzheimer's Walk {Volunteering}

For a very long time now, my family has been involved in Alzheimer's Walks.
My Grandpa passed away from Alzheimer's quite a few years ago.
We have always participated in the Walks, but this year, my mom decided she wanted to do more.
  She contacted our local Alzheimer's Walk coordinator, and asked what we could do to help.
Last weekend, we helped with our local Walk.
It was much smaller than the Walk we are used to in Milwaukee.
But with only 200 people, about $25,000 was raised.

My Mom and I ran the raffle table.
And because Munchkin never leaves my side, he came too.

He had fun playing while Mommy and Nana sold tickets.

Everyone who registered got a flower.
Each flower had memories of loved ones with Alzheimers.

Karson didn't quite understand that the Promise Garden was, but he loved watching the flowers spin with the wind.

Hopefully we can help end Alzheimers.
So Karson never has to worry about it.

 In a few weeks, our family will be participating in another walk.
We will actually be walking this time, and not volunteering.
Chick here to donate to our team.
