Sunday morning, we packed up, and headed for Great Wolf Lodge. It has become one of our favorite places to vacation for a few days! Last year, Karson had just turned 1 when we were there. I was so excited to take him again this year!

We had a blast again this year! We got to GW on Sunday afternoon, checked in and headed to the pool. Karson was unsure at first, but as soon as he was a little more comfortable he had a blast. He spent a long time repeatedly going down the slide, yelling 'YAAY' and clapping for himself, running up the stairs, and going down the slide again. One Mom was waiting to catch her little one at the bottom of the slide, and told Karson his lips were blue. He responded very appropriately with clapping and a very loud 'YAAY!' DJ and I agreed that the money we spent on this trip, and the work we put in to going was 100% worth it for that 1 hour of him running up the stairs and going down the slide. He was having so much fun!

Every night they have a pajama story time & clock tower show in the lobby. Karson absolutely cracked us up. The guy reading the story would ask "Raise your hand if you went down the green slide?" (aka-one of the really BIG slides that even Mommy won't go down) and Karson would raise his hand and yell 'yaay!'

Our first morning, was a very early morning. At least for Mommy. I have been sick, and haven't been sleeping. After playing in the water park all day on Sunday, I woke up at 5:30 on Monday and could not fall back asleep...which meant Daddy didn't sleep well after 5:30 either. Karson finally started stirring at around 7, we grabbed him out of his pack and play and headed to breakfast. Mommy and Daddy were hungry!! It was so good, and I was thrilled that someone offered to take our picture. We rarely get a picture of the 3 of us on vacation!
